Terms of Service
These terms cover your purchase and use of Custom Invitational games at custominvitational.com, operated by [Your business name] ("we", "us"). By placing an order, you agree to them.
What you're buying
A personalized arcade-style golf game, delivered as a private web link, plus a printable gift card with a QR code. For an extra fee, you can add a 7×5 printed card, mailed in an envelope to the name and US address you enter at checkout. That can be the golfer or you. We currently accept orders from the United States only.
Ordering and delivery
After payment, we email you the game link and the printable card. The link shows a "being built" screen until your game is ready, which happens within 5 to 7 business days. A person on our team reviews every story before the game goes live. There is no preview or test drive of the finished game before purchase.
Mailed cards
Mailed cards are printed and shipped by our printing partner the day your game goes live. We mail the card to exactly the name and address entered at checkout, so please check it carefully. Delivery dates are estimates set by the carrier and aren't guaranteed, including around holidays.
All sales are final
Because every game is custom-made, all sales are final. See our Refund Policy for the free fixes we do offer.
What you send us
You tell us names, nicknames, stories, inside jokes and, if you like, a logo or photo. By submitting them, you confirm that:
- You have the right to use them, including any logo or photo you upload.
- They aren't hateful, harassing, sexual, or threatening, and don't include anyone's private information such as home addresses, phone numbers or account details.
- The people you name would be okay being part of a friendly, teasing story.
We write each story with the help of an AI tool, then a person reviews and edits it. We may edit or leave out anything we think is inappropriate, and we may decline an order whose content breaks these rules.
Your game link
Anyone with the link can play the game, so share it only with people you want to have it.
How long your game is available
Each game is available for 12 months from the day it goes live. After that, the link shows a closing screen instead of the game. We may, but are not required to, offer ways to extend a game's availability in the future.
Ownership
We own the game software, artwork and design. You get a personal, non-commercial right to play and share your game. The names, stories and images you send stay yours. You give us permission to use them only to build, deliver and support your game.
Not affiliated
Custom Invitational is an independent product and isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any golf brand, golf course, sports team or arcade game company. Any course or team names in a game come from the buyer.
Disclaimers
The game is provided as is. We work to keep it running smoothly, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors on every device. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
